hello, whats new and how are you? soooooooo. i gathered from a friend that a certain 'Amalina' from his brother's MSN list is using one of my pictures on her MSN display picture. as in, a picture of my face. this one, to be exact.
i dont know if this is a case of obsession or sabotage, but either way, flattered as i am, there could be a possibility of evil intentions. *dramatic gasp*
hence if any of you stumble upon this 'Amalina', i'd appreciate your kind kind kind report.

its a bit too soon to let you in on the details (lol im just making up an excuse, i have no bloody clue where we're playing) all i know's that the organizer mentioned there'll be 500-1000 people or something. this is extremely nerve-wracking. i dont even know if ive got the guts to do it!

Kenneth wanted to stop the jam session because he was dying to watch that devil wears prada movie. that was the first time i saw a guy get all excited over a chickflick! so yeah, we ended up eating from a monumental bowl of chicken-flavoured maggi while watching a chickflick with occasional visits by the doggy!!! (i was screaming my lungs out and my heart practically exploded when the smaller dog barked nonstop at me and Ash!!! it was tied to a damn damn leash and the maid was struggling to not lose grip. i swear i was shaking thank goodness for the maid! she saved the day! well, and Ash too, for shielding me. HAHAHA)

well ...nothing much happened. -_- but thats okay cause i had fun!
it rained heavilyyyyyy, the heavier the better! i brought my ampeefour along but i didnt listen to music at all. i think i'd rather listen to the rain pelting down on my umbrella. it felt good. like i had absolutely no care in the world. i should do this more often!!!!!
i was singing my lungs out throughout the journey which obviously is the reason why the rain refused to stop. IT. WAS. AWESOME!!!! ... and then i saw a dead rat at the boardwalk!!!! i screamed, "OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD." and then i saw a loooong worm between my two feet. i screamed, "OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD." again. so yeah ive decided that the best songs to sing are Demi Lovato's songs. theyre just so ridiculously high and powerful that they get me breathless and THAT, my dear friend, is awesome. 8-D

i remember my mom buying a compilation cd back then when i was little. and i loved that song so much i kept listening to it over and over again. then one day my mom sat me down and looked me in the eye. "Do you know what this song means?" she asked, (yknow in the sort of tone Mrs Merriweather probably used on Scout during the missionary circle's tea thing)
i had no idea what that song meant, so i was like, nawwww! i mean, hello i was a kid, i didnt know a thing. and so my mom told me about the whole prostitute thing, and indeed, IGNORANCE IS BLISS.

i camped in the living room just to watch it at 1am but i ended up sleeping sometime between 12.30 to 1. i dont think i was 'too tired' from the recording or anything cause i didnt do much!!!! okay i MAY HAVE jumped around and danced a little under Ash's influence but other than that i didnt do anything physically straining. OH NEVER MIND!
in any case, i did my duty and googled that episode in the end i only got to watch bits of it. so yeah i spent my whole morning crying.
crying because the scenes were really heartbreaking,

Dont give up! Just keep sprinting!" and the strange thing is all of them who said it used the exact same supposedly-inspiring tone and the exact same words! boo! what a ripoff!!!!!!!
and every month (or week.. or day...) the teachers reminded us that we shouldnt give up when HELLOOOO! hardly anyone was straining themselves in the first place. HAHAHAHA. its kinda funny when i think back. =D
idk about you but thats how things were in my school. everyone was pretty much in their own world. we did study! of course we did! but we didnt see this whole O levels thing as a matter of life and death.
i mean, i bumped into my primary schoolmate Rachel and she said her classmates were doing fifteen hours a day!!!! HOLY COW!!! FIFTEEN!!!! that barely gives you time to take long walks!!!!! i tell you, i almost died there and then at the bustop, because all i'd been doing was three hours a day INCLUSIVE OF PROCRASTINATION.
but thats okay its all over now and i'd like to thank whoever who gave me the support i needed. the conversations on MSN, the encouraging hugs, the tags, the texts, the texts-that-came-at-4am-when-you-jolly-well-know-i-needed-rest-for-my-paper-the-next-morning, the 'you-confirm-can-make-it-one-lah's,

oh gosh my feet are aching now. trust my stupidity to wear tight shoes for a long walk!!!!!! i sure hope i wont get hookworms (itchy feet) from walking in the rain. )= but thats quite a reasonable price to pay to get to enjoy nature. but then again, why should there be a price to pay to enjoy nature?

yknow, the sort of weather where the unrelenting brightness of the Sun is shining on you but you dont feel heat, at all? cause its really cold outside!! that cant happen in Singapore, well, obviously. -.- we're too near to the equator.
books make up for ALLLLLLLLLLL the wonderful things i dont get to experience in Singapore. gosh i really need to plan a visit to the library!!!!!! or a bookstore where they dont wrap their books in clear plastic! =D

sigh. okay since you want me to care about this tag then i will. -__- well, come what may. this incident is actually a lesson for me, that being kiasu actually brings benefits, especially in times like these.
and i know my post was kinda mean but for goodness' sake, can you please READ? in the post i said that i studied five chapters, but obviously i studied Venice more since everyone kept stressing on it. and then i had one whole chunk of paragraph where i COMPLAINED about Venice not being tested, cause i literally gave my heart to it. im as appalled as whoever studied Venice, okay. but fortunately for me, my kiasu-ness helped and Globalisation is tested. i did not brag. i even said im not really good at Globalisation.
and if you read my second last sentence PROPERLY, i said, "i had the impulse to happy dance and laugh at the people who were complacent enough to study Venice ONLY." keyword: ONLY. i wanted to laugh at the people who studied Venice ONLY.
and if youre any good at analyzing, im actually using irony in the last two sentences,
because one of Venice's flaws are complacency, and the people who studied Venice ONLY, with their heart and soul, WERE COMPLACENT, WHICH IS REALLY DUMB ON THEIR PART, cause, i suppose, the reason why the chaper Venice was thrown into the syllabus is cause we're supposed to learn from their flaws!!!!
so if im crushing people's hearts, what do you want me to do? tape the little shards back together? or am i supposed to apologize for their complacency? like i said, this incident is like a lesson, plus, you said so yourself, "IT IS ALL OVER."
now, any of you got any issues with my entries? if so, read properly before tagging. and by reading, i mean READ.
once i said, i take every single word in my entries into consideration. and i wasnt kidding when i said that. if you want to use any of my blog entries' content against me, i assure you, you're wasting your time.
and dont go "i have a feeling that you will probably say you dont care about this comment when in fact, you do" just cause youre kinda hoping i will give your tag some attention and printscreen it and reply or whatever.
the reason why i do not bother about certain tags from discontented "PASSERBY"(s) is your tags are the dictionary definition of stupid. so if you tag some form of unhappiness towards me, and you dont see me replying, you know why.

oh venice
THIS IS SO FREAKING FUNNY I CANT STOP LAUGHING, HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
i didnt think Venice is relevant in Singapore's context but to hell with that. it's the most interesting chapter in our syllabus, plus everyone was betting on it being tested, so i studied it anyway.
to be completely honest, i studied five chapters for Social Studies, including Venice, Globalisation and Bonding Singapore. i was kiasu, but at least it puts me at an advantage right?!?! HAHAHA!
the moment i got the paper i flipped to the last page (ok no, the moment the invigilator said OK GO! i flipped the paper) and there was no Venice. at all. ok wait no. before the paper began we were supposed to check the pages right? so i caught a glimpse of the questions. I CANT HELP IT OKAY, IM SURE EVERYONE ELSE DOES IT ALL THE TIME!
AND THERE WAS NO VENICE!!!!! and i was like DAMNATION! i read Venice everyday and memorized every single detail and even dreamt of Doge Enrico Dandolo and the stupid Ottoman Empire and i had the hot picture of Napoleon on a horse (the one on the second last page of Venice) stuck in my mind everyday! (Ahdila said his face looked too small, but he looked really cute in that picture) ... AND THIS IS WHAT I GET?!?!?!?!?!
but Globalisation was tested and i was like HEHEHEHEHE BINGO!!!! im not really good at Globalisation but at least i had key points! =D i had the impulse to happy dance and laugh at the people who were complacent enough to study Venice ONLY.
after all, complacency played a part in Venice's fall. *shrugs*
ps. im gonna be sucked in a Blackhole today, but Jugman will be there to save me.
